Not all Chemo Angels are the same. Depending on your level of commitment you can choose between being a Traditional Chemo Angel, a Card Angel or a Support Angel. Read the following descriptions to decide which type of angeling is best for you.
Traditional Chemo AngelAs a Traditional Chemo Angel you will be assigned to a patient who you will encourage through small gifts, cards, letters, uplifting notes for the duration of their treatment. A recent poll shows 75% of our Traditional Chemo Angels spend $50 or less a month on their patient. Being a Traditional Chemo Angel is a long term commitment. To submit a Chemo Angel application... |
Card Angel...As a Card Angel, you will send your assigned patient at least one card, letter, or note a week, and perhaps a small gift every now and then, but gifts are not required for Card Angels. Support Angel..Chemo Angels Cancer Support Organization does not receive any grants or federal funding. Becoming a Support Angel is the perfect answer for everyone who would like to contribute to the program without getting directly involved in caring for a particular cancer patient.
